A Preview of the Acer Liquid Express
The Liquid Express is the rumoured successor to Acer's Liquid Mini, sporting bumped-up specifications and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).
According to the online rumour mill, the Acer Liquid Express (E230) will come touting a 3.5-inch (480 x 320) screen, sat within the handset's glossy black casing. This'll features the same slick curves as its Liquid Mini brother, although given its larger capacitive screen, it's likely to be a fair bit chunkier.
The handset also comes powered by an 800MHz Qualcomm processor, paired alongside its Gingerbread OS. As you'd expect from an Acer-branded smartphone, the Liquid Express comes skinned in the firm's custom Android user interface - complete with customisable homescreens and Acer's SocialJogger application.
Other rumoured features include a 5 megapixel rear-facing snapper with LED flash, DLNA technology, integrated GPS, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, and up to 32GB of expandable memory.
There's not yet any word on the handset's release date, but it's likely to rock a cheap-and-cheerful price-tag.
A full review will be published here once the phone has been released.
