About Alcatel
Alcatel mobile phones made their debut in 2004, and is a joint venture between Alcatel-Lucent of France and TCL Communication of China.
The majority of Alcatel's phones are popular on pay as you go, thanks to their basic features and affordable price-tag. These cheap mobile phones are available in all shapes and sizes, be it the BlackBerry-style OT-355 or the 'female only' OT-810. Alcatel famously release a cheap candybar phone to celebrate the Royal Wedding too, the Alcatel One Touch 209.
