Everything that made the original iphone a trailblazer with the addition of 3g. A worthy successor.
I got my iPhone 3G after using the original iPhone for over a year. Having used the original for so long, moving to the 3G was a big bump; it was faster, slimmer and had a much cooler design. I still like the 2-tone design of the original iPhone though as well. This phone was incredible. Battery lasted longer, apps loaded and worked better, and the phone overall was a big improvement. Signal quality was better, even with T-Mobile, and it was still unlockable. That was always the big thing for me, with being on T-Mobile. I still own and use the 3G everyday now, and will not be giving up my iPhone any time soon.
Huge App store with thousands of apps. Revolutionary wow factor phone with hardly any real use or features!!! Even with new OS 3.0, still missing voice activated dialling,No flash support for viewing web, stil cannot set my songs as ringtone, where is the sms delivery report function on UK o2 iphones? no video recording or zoom function? and dont listen to the "powerful battery" hype that you read about! In reality this mobile with wifi 3G and bluetooth switched of will return only 5 hours of talk time max, and nowhere near the stated 300 hours standby. Beautiful to look at and use but little more then hyped up eye candy and a novelty that lasts about 5 weeks.
