A Preview of the Motorola Xoom
The Motorola Xoom is the world's first tablet with a dual-core processor and Android 3.0, the latest iteration of Google's OS designed specifically for tablets.
With a hefty 2GHz of processing power, the Motorola Xoom boasts an iPad-style 10.1 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800. This cinematic display supports 1080p video, while offering the ultimate platform for Google's revamped UI.
Not only will the Xoom be treated to a stylish new interface, it will also come equipped with Googles latest innovations. This includes Google Maps 5.0 with 3D buildings, Google's eBook library and Adobe Flash 10.1 support.
The Motorola Xoom also features a 5 megapixel rear facing camera with dual LED flash and HD video capture, a front-facing webcam for video calling, USB and HDMI ports for sharing your media and HSDPA and WiFi connectivity. Over in the States, the Motorola Xoom will also support 4G speeds.
The Motorola Xoom has a UK release date of Q1 2011. Its pricing on the otherhand, is yet to be confirmed.
