Since it was announced earlier this month at Nokia World 2010, the handset hasn’t appeared on the manufacturers website. Now, the handset has popped up, which usually happens before a phone’s imminent release. The Nokia N8 also looks set to launch next month, so releasing a cheaper option would certainly play a smart move on Nokia’s part.
The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type provides users with an alphanumeric keypad alongside a 2.5 inch touchscreen. The handset is also set to come equipped with 3G and WiFi connectivity, a 5 megapixel camera with flash, social networking widgets and up to 32GB of expandable memory. Nokia also announced the handset would be available in 3 different colours; silver, warm grey and khaki gold. Although not confirmed, we are rumoured to expect a price-tag of around £120.
Nokia are yet to confirm the handsets official release date, although have confirmed it would be available before the end of the year.
