Orange offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab

November 1st, 2010

Orange have today announced that they are stocking the Samsung Galaxy Tab, the day the device officially launches across the UK.

Aside from its already impressive spec sheet, the network will provide users with a customizable Orange homescreen, allowing easy access to Orange Wednesdays, Orange Maps and Your Orange. However, you pay a high price for these additional features, as Orange have announced some pretty hefty tariffs.

If you opt for the Orange Racoon plan, you pay a one-off fee of £499 on a 12 month data plan, which gets you £500MB of data for £5/month if you’re already an Orange customer, or £10/month if not. On the Orange Dolphin plan prices again start from £499, with deals offering you 1GB data and BT Openzone WiFi access from £10/month on a 12 month plan.

The tablet is available to pick up now from selected Orange retail outlets, although you might want to read the full pricing list beforehand.
