Dell Venue Pro to start shipping within “5 days”

According to eXpansys, the elusive Dell Venue Pro will finally start shipping to UK punters in 5 days time.

Originally pegged for a November 2010 release, Dell‘s latest smartphone has faced multiple delays, which was earlier revealed as “a Microsoft issue with European MMS settings”. It looks like the problem has finally been resolved, as electronics retailer eXpansys are now offering the handset with an estimated availability of 5 days.

Despite its prolonged delays, the Venue Pro still manages to reign as one of the most popular Windows Phone 7 handsets, mainly down to its quirky portrait keypad. This is coupled with a whopping 4.1 inch display, a 5 megapixel camera with HD video capture, Xbox Live gaming, 3G and WiFi connectivity and 8GB of storage.
