The handset cropped up on the network’s “Coming Soon” page, and it looks like at this rate, all UK networks could be snapping up the arc. Unlike O2, Vodafone are yet to announce a release date, and the handset’s pricing is yet to be disclosed. If you’re super-keen, you can register your interest on the Vodafone website to receive an email when the slimline Xperia arc becomes available.
It’s good news for customers tied-in to the network, as the Xperia arc looks set to be one of Sony Ericsson‘s most popular handset’s to date. It may measure in at just 8.7mm thick, but the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc packs a hefty 1GHz processor, Android 2.3 OS, 4.2 inch “Reality Display”, an 8.1 megapixel rear-facing camera, HD video capture, its USB and HDMI ports, 3G and WiFi connectivity and a powerful 1500mAh battery.
Although unconfirmed, the handset is likely to be hitting shelves on April 1st. Be sure to check back for the latest Sony Ericsson Xperia arc deals.
