The HTC Incredible S is coming to both the Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy. In a press statement, Graham Stapleton, Chief Commercial Officer for Best Buy Europe, revealed the handset would start shipping on March 3rd :)

it’s the European version of the incredible, not the droid pro

Thanks for pointing that out. You’re right – the Verizon Droid Pro is actually the Motorola Pro that’s also been announced for a European release, whereas the HTC Incredible S is known in the States as the Droid Incredible. We’ve corrected the mistake :)

I like that its size is somewhere between that of the desire and the desire HD.

Another thing…shipping on 3rd march means shipments will arrive around 5 days later…so stock won’t be available till a bit later.

I can see HTC’s strategy very clearly now…they aren’t competing for the high end…they are attacking the wide populous now…you will be able to pick sim free flagship phones for gbp400. Desire pay as,you go is now gbp300! Wow

Still not packing a dual core processor though. Like with older models will the video capture on the camera be able to keep up at 30fps at 720p? Or will it be like older models be ducking out for reliable performance at 15fps? Also is this rush to market for maximum exposure due to the rumors of a dual core iphone5 hitting in June? If I was making phones I’d have my flagship phone going dual core for even that reason alone.

Note: Galaxy S2 rumored March 4th UK shipping. Dual core 1080p video running on 2.3 Gingerbread. What can you say but Samsung has won on flagship handsets for Q1/2 2011?
