Samsung Galaxy S IIIf you didn’t fancy forking out over 600 pounds to get your hands on the Samsung Galaxy S II, you’re in luck. Clove has slashed the price of the 16GB Galaxy S2 by over £80.00, which is now available to order for £528.

The price drop follows yesterday’s report that the Galaxy S sequel won’t be hitting shelves until the beginning of May, despite expectations for an imminent launch. It looks like Samsung is making up for the lengthy delays, as the price of the Galaxy S II 16GB has seen a massive pre-order price drop to just £528.00 SIM free. The Samsung Galaxy S II 32GB still features its whopping £708 price tag, with its discounted price still to be confirmed.

Do you think the Samsung Galaxy S2 is worth over 500 of your hard-earned British pounds? It certainly packs a hefty spec sheet, featuring a dual-core Orion processor, a 4.3 inch 480 x 800 Super AMOLED Plus display, TouchWiz 4.o UI, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video capture, a 2 megapixel webcam, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity and NFC technology.

The Samsung Galaxy S II is currently available to pre-order, with delivery confirmed as kicking-off at the beginning of May. Once launched, the handset will also be available on pay monthly deals with Three and Vodafone from around £30.00/month.
