Dell Venue Pro hits the UK, now in stock SIM free

Today is the day that we never thought would come, as the Dell Venue Pro has arrived on UK shores.

The good news comes via Expansys, who Tweeted that the Windows Phone 7 smartphone is now in stock, updating its online store to follow suit. The UK retailer is offering the Dell Venue Pro SIM free for £444.99, with over one-hundred of the blowers available.

Following its announcement back in October last year, Dell‘s business-focussed handset was originally given a “November 2010″ release date. However, supposed issues with its “European MMS settings”  have caused the handset to face multiple delays, causing lengthy set-backs of over six months.

It may be a bit on the large size, but the Dell Venue Pro is the ultimate WP7 smartphone for busy professionals and Facebook addicts. It will be the second of Microsoft-slider to arrive in Blight, following in the footsteps of the QWERTY-toting HTC 7 Pro. The hotly-anticipated handset also sports a 4.1 inch capacitive display, a slide-out portrait keypad, a 5 megapixel camera with HD video capture, Xbox Live gaming, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity and 8GB of built-in storage.

The Dell Venue Pro is now available to order SIM free from Expansys, with delivery expected with in 3-4 days.

The handset is also available to order on pay monthly deals with O2, Orange and Vodafone from £26.25/month, with “stock due soon”.
