N4BB got their hands on the specs, showing that RIM is upping the ante when it comes to its 2011 line-up. Under the hood there’s a Qualcomm 8655 Snapdragon processor clocking in at a hefty 1.2GHz, and coupled with 768MB RAM.
Asides from its whizzy innards, the Bold Touch will feature a 2.8-inch 640 x 480 LCD display, paired with a four row back-lit QWERTY keypad. Despite measuring in at just 115 x 66 x 10.5mm, it also will also arrive sporting a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and 720p HD video capture, a first for any Blackberry handset.
Other confirmed specs include a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB port, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, 3G mobile Hot Spot functionality, 8GB of onboard storage expandable to 32GB via microSD, and a 1230mAh battery.
