Samsung Galaxy S2 shipping on April 27th

Samsung Galaxy S IIUK retailer Phones4U has pegged the Galaxy S2 with an April 27th shipping date, which means you’ll be able to get your mitts on the smartphone earlier than anticipated.

Currently available to pre-order, Phones4U are claiming that if you order it now, the Galaxy S2 could be yours in just one weeks time, 3 days earlier that its official “May 1st” release.

The retailer is offering the Samsung Galaxy S II on pay monthly deals with Orange, with the cheapest tariff coming in at £35.00/month, with a free handset, 700 minutes, 3000 texts and 500MB data bundled in. If you pre-order it now, you’ll also get a free 8GB microSD card chucked in, too.

Launched at February’s Mobile World Congress, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is the highly-specced sequel to Sammy’s 2010 flagship. It’ll arrive packing 1.2GHz dual-core innards and Android 2.3 OS, alongside a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video capture, a front-facing webcam, HSDPA and WiFi speeds, integrated NFC smarts, and either 16GB or 32GB of storage.

Once released, the Samsung Galaxy S2 will also be available on subsidized deals with O2, T-MobileThree and Vodafone. It’s currently available to pre-order on T-Mobile from just £27.45/month, including a free handset, 900 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB data.
