Nokia X7 hits pre-order in Europe, costs £405 SIM free

May 6th, 2011

Nokia X7It looks like the Nokia X7 could soon be on its way to Blighty, as it’s now available to pre-from both Nokia Germany and Nokia Portugal.

Beating its E6 sibling to the punch, the Nokia X7-00 is already available to pre-order across Europe, less than one-month after it was officially announced. In Germany, you can nab the quirky handset for 459 Euros (around £405) SIM free, while in Portugal it’ll cost you 489.90 Euros (around £425), although you do have the choice of both the Dark Steel handset and its shiny Silver sibling.

There’s still no word on its UK pricing, although we’re guessing it’ll fetch around £419.99, similar to the Nokia N8 at launch. However, it’ll also be available through Three UK, where you’ll be able to nab the handset with all-you-can-eat data.

Set to be the first handset to launch with Symbian Anna, the Nokia X7-00 touts a  4-inch AMOLED touchscreen with ClearBlack Display to show off its all-new UI and jazzy new icons. It’s angular-chassis also houses four external speakers, an 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and HD video, Adobe Flash support, HSDPA and WiFi speeds and 1GB of built-in memory expandable to 32GB.

Set to launch in “Q2 2011″, us Brits can expect to get our mitts on the handset before the end of June.
