LG‘s kept to its promise of an imminent release, as its Optimus Black smartphone has just landed on T-Mobile.
Spied sitting pretty on the UK network’s website, the Nova-equipped smartphone is now available to order. T-Mobiles tariffs start from just £25.54/month, including a free Optimus Black, 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB data.
Its pay as you go pricing is still to be confirmed, although it’s available through Expansys for £414.99 SIM free.
The LG Optimus Black was announced at CES 2011, alongside its speedy Optimus 2X sibling. Although not dual-core like its record-breaking brother, it touts a 4-inch Nova touchscreen, “which is reportedly the “brightest and most readable” display on the market. It also arrives with Android 2.2 OS, LG’s Optimus UI, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a front-facing webcam, HSDPA and WiFi speeds and up to 32GB of storage.
The Optimus Black is also expected to land on Orange, although the network’s release date is still to be confirmed.
