The UK phone-seller took to its blog, revealing that the “HTC ChaCha will be in stock on June 6 2011″. This comes just moments after the Carphone Warehouse listed the smartphone, confirming its imminent “early June” release.
If you fancy getting your mitts on the HTC handset, it’s now available to pre-order from the CPW. Prices start from £20.00 per month on 2 year contracts with Orange, with 200 minutes, unlimited texts, and 250MB included. It’s also available on Mobiles.co.uk, from just £15.63 per month.
If you don’t fancy signing a lengthy 2 year contract, Clove is offering a SIM free model for £252.00.
Announced at February’s MWC, the HTC ChaCha is one of two “Facebook Phones”, along with its touchscreen Salsa sibling. Alongside its Facebook-branded key, the ChaCha features one-touch access to Facebook Chat, Profile, Wall, Groups and News Feed, alongside deep integration with the handsets features.
There’s also a 600MHz processor, a 2.6-inch capacitive display. There’s also Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, HTC Sense UI, a 600MHz processor, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a VGA videocall cam, and HSDPA and WiFi connectivity.
