Just when you thought Apple‘s upcoming WWDC keynote was exciting, Rovio has taken to Twitter to unveil the latest set of levels for the original Angry Birds app – officially dubbed Mine and Dine. According to the Finnish devs it’ll soon be available in app stores everywhere, which means it can be grabbed on Android, iOS, Symbian and webOS handsets. Sorry, Windows Phone users, the wait continues.
As its name suggests, ‘Mine and Dine’ is set “in the dark, damp underbelly of the Angry Birds World”, and involves flinging those ill-tempered avians and head torch-sporting pigs. There’s no official word on how many levels there is, but if anything like the Ham ‘Em High episode, we should have 45-time-wasters to look forward to.
Mine and Dine’s official release date is still TBC although we’ve been in touch with Rovio for further information.
This update comes just moments after Gear4 gave a sneak preview of its Angry Birds speakers, which’ll be available in the UK from August. Head over to Mobile Fun to check them out!
