Orange has launched the Orange Rio II, the sequel to last year’s BlackBerry-esque handset.
Available in both Black and White flavours, the Orange Rio 2 is the “bigger and better” older brother, rocking a 2.4-inch (240 x 320) resistive touchscreen and a full QWERTY keypad. It also boasts HSDPA speeds, making it viable budget alternative to the BlackBerry Bold 9900. This high speed connectivity is coupled with a built-in web browser, social networking integration and an integrated email client.
Other specs include a 3 megapixel rear-facing camera, a built-in MP3 player with FM radio, Bluetooth, and up to 8GB of expandable memory with a 2GB card included. There’s also a bunch of Orange applications, including Maps, Messenger and Orange Widgets.
The Orange Rio 2 is in stock now, and can be grabbed on pay as you go with for just £69.99. It’s also available for free pay monthly tariffs from £20.00 per month, including 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB data.
Head over to the Orange Shop to check out the full range of Rio II tariffs.
