HTC Sensation shipping on July 8th, confirms Phones4u

HTC SensationVodafone’s HTC Sensation exclusivity is could be landing longer than we’d hoped, as Phones4u has confirmed the handset’s July 8th release date.

According to the UK phone-seller, you can pre-order the dual-core flagship on O2 and Orange today, for “delivery on 08/07″. This news comes despite Three‘s promised ‘June’ release date, and despite our tip that it’d be landing next week.

Still, to be first in line you can pre-order it now. Prices over at Phones4u start from £30.00 per month, which’ll bag you a free HTC Sensation, 500 minutes, 3000 texts and 500MB data.

Third-party retailer has also kicked off its pre-order, and is offering the handset on O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Three. If you don’t fancy forking out £30.00 per month you can grab a Sensation on a £25.53 tariff, including 900 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB data.

The Sensation is the first of HTC’s handsets to pack a dual-core processor, which clocks in at a powerful 1.2GHz. It also arrives rocking a 4.3-inch qHD display, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS the latest version of HTC Sense, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, 1080p HD video capture, a front-facing webcam, HSDPA and WiFi, and up to 32GB of storage.
