The HTC Flyer is a Three exclusive no more, as T-Mobile has started selling the Android tablet.
T-Mobile has undercut its rival network when it comes to pricing, too. It’s offering the Flyer for £229 on a £25 per month contract, compared to Three’s £169 upfront charge on a more expensive £30.99 tariff. That’s a saving of almost £85 over the length of the contract – if our maths skills are anything to go by.
It works out even cheaper for existing T-Mobile customers, as you’ll only have to pay £199 to get your hands on the tablet.
Announced way back in February at MWC, the Flyer is HTC’s debut tablet, which arrives running Android 2.3. As with the firm’s smartphone line-up, the slate comes dressed in HTC Sense, complete with an all-new active lock-screen and swirling 3D widgets. This skins the tablet’s 7-inch touchscreen, which also comes equipped with ‘Active Stylus’ import, enabling you to doodle and note-make on the screen.
The HTC Flyer also comes with a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a front-facing webcam, access to the Android market HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, and up to 32GB of storage.
Head over to T-Mobile to order your HTC Flyer.
