Virgin Media launches 12 month contracts

Virgin MediaVirgin Media has revamped its monthly mobile tariffs, which now includes a range of shorter 12 month contracts.

According to the UK network, both new and existing customers can take advantage of the one-year-long contracts, which start at just £15.99 per month including 200 minutes and 25 texts.

The most-expensive tariff, at £27.99, comes with a much-more generous 200 minutes, 250 texts and 2.5GB of data, and you can also bag yourself a free Samsung Galaxy Ace. However, you’ll how to fork out for the latest smartphones. For example, Samsung’s Galaxy S2 will cost you £299.99 upfront, while the HTC ChaCha costs £199.99.

As well as its all-new 12 months contracts, the network has launched a range of customisable extras for its pay monthly customers. For £2 per month you can double your minutes, and you can upgrade to 5GB of mobile data for just £5 extra a month
