The Sony Ericsson Xperia mini pro is now available in the UK, and it’s available to buy from just £20 per month.
The Carphone Warehouse has finally started selling the keyboard-wielding handset, just days after the release of its Xperia mini sibling. Available on deals with Orange and T-Mobile, the Sony Ericsson Xperia mini pro can be grabbed for free from £20.42 per month – including 300 minutes, 300 texts, and unlimited mobile data.
Mobiles.co.uk, a subsidiary of the Carphone Warehouse, is also selling the Android smartphone. In fact, it’s offering the handset from just £8.51 per month, complete with 300 minutes, 300 texts and 500MB of data.
Announced back in May, Sony Ericsson’s latest QWERTY handset arrives as a the higher-specced sequel to the X10 Mini Pro. It touts a more powerful 1GHz single-core processor, coupled with the latest version of Google’s OS - Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS. This equips the phone with Facebook Inside Xperia support, which ties the social network into the handset’s apps.
There’s also a 3-inch touchscreen onboard and a slide out QWERTY keypad, making it ideal for serial texters and social networkers. There’s also a 5 megapixel HD camera, a front-facing videocall snapper, HSDPA and WiFi speeds, and up to 32GB of expandable memory.
