The Motorola Pro has been delayed until ‘mid-late September’, according to a UK mobile phone retailer.
Last month, Clove kicked-off its pre-orders for the BlackBerry-style handset, with a promise of shipping it later this month. The retailer has now pushed-back its promised August release date, and claims it’ll now be landing in ‘ mid-late September’. The reasons for the delays are still TBC, but we’ve been in touch with Clove for further information.
Still, for those after an Android-equipped BlackBerry alternative, Motorola’s Pro could be worth waiting for. Unlike the HTC ChaCha and Samsung Galaxy Pro, the handset touts a large 3.1 inch (320 x 480) touchscreen, coupled alongside its portrait QWERTY keys.
It’ll also come running Android 2.2 (with an update to Gingerbread no doubt in the works), paired with a speedy 1GHz single-core processor. Other specifications include a 5 megapixel camera with HD video, HSDPA and WiFi speeds and up to 32GB of storage.
To be first in line to get your hands on the smartphone, it’s available to pre-order for £420.
