LG Optimus 3D WhiteIf you’re a fan of the LG Optimus 3D but not so keen on its black design, Phones 4u has finally began selling its exclusive pearly-white alternative.

The white LG Optimus 3D is now available to order from the UK phone-seller, with prices starting from a mere £30 per month. This 2-year-long Orange contract will bag you a free Optimus 3D handset, 500 minutes, 3000 texts and 500MB of mobile data. Bump this up by just £1 per month, and you’ll bag yourselves an extra 400 minutes.

The LG Optimus 3D was launched to much fanfare at February’s at Mobile World Congress, ahead of its launch in July as the UK’s first ’3D smartphone’. The 3D element – which can be switched off – includes a mammoth 4.3-inch ‘naked eye’ display, and dual 5 megapixel stereoscopic cameras.

If you’re not so keen on 3D, it also works as a top-end Android smartphone. There’s a 1GHz Tegra 2 processor under the hood, alongside Android 2.2 (with an upgrade to Gingerbread coming in October), 1080p HD video capture, a front-facing video-call camera, HSDPA and WiFi speeds, and 8GB of built-in memory – expandable to 32GB via microSD.
