Announced back in June, the Mix Walkman is a cheap non-Android alternative to the bizarrely-named Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman. In terms of specs, the phone comes with all of the usual music goodies, including TrackID, PlayNow, Karaoke and ‘Zappin key’, which gives you a preview of the next song’s chorus.
Besides its music smarts, the Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman also comes with a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 3.2 megapixel rear-facing camera, integrated social networking apps and Sony Ericsson’s Four Corner UI, WiFi connectivity, and up to 32GB of expandable memory.
To bag yourself a Mix Walkman handset, it’s available at Vodafone for £80 on pay as you go. As usual, you’ll have to also purchase £10 top up – but this will equip you with free UK texts and web access for 30 days.
O2 will also be selling the Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman, although the network’s release date is still to be confirmed.
