The Motorola Defy+ is available to pre-order from a mere £10.75 per month, ahead of its release towards the end of this month.
That’s thanks to BuyMobilePhones.net, who are offering the highly-specced Defy follow-up on monthly deals with O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone. O2’s cheap-as-chips £10.75 24 month tariff will cost you just £258 in total, and includes a free Motorola Defy Plus, 100 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB of mobile data.
Still, if you don’t fancy signing up to a lengthy 24 month contract, the phone’s also available to pre-order at Clove – sporting a reasonable £256 SIM free price-tag.
It may be cheaper than Moto’s first-gen Defy, but the aptly Defy+ packs a faster 1GHz single-core processor, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, and a larger 1700mAh battery. However, it comes with the same IP67 compliancy rating as it’s older brother, which means it’s resistant against water, dust and shock, and scratches.
Other confirmed specifications include a 3.7-inch (480 x 854) touchscreen dressed in Motorola’s MOTOBLUR UI, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera (sans HD video), Adobe Flash Player support, 2GB of built-in memory expandable to 32GB via microSD, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity.
