Samsung Galaxy Note could hit the UK in ‘late October’

September 23rd, 2011

Samsung Galaxy NoteThe Samsung Galaxy Note could land in Blighty as soon as ‘late October’, a Samsung staffer has revealed, despite expectations for a late November release.

Speaking to Mobot.net, a senior account manager at Samsung Korea let slip that Sammy employees are already using the Galaxy Note, and that it could arrive to market in late October or early November.

“I spoke to my contact at Samsung last night and he had just arrived back from Korea. He advised me that the Samsung note 5.3 is looking to be released late October/early November,” the loose-lipped source supposedly said, adding that the phone had been “received with huge excitement” by his clients.

This follows yesterday’s ‘confirmation‘ from UK retailer Clove, which said that “ that the first stock of the 5.3″ beast is due to be here late November.” Either way, the handset’s already available to pre-order from the online phone-shop, costing a hefty £600 SIM free.

The Galaxy Note’s release date isn’t all Mobot’s tipster revealed, however. He also said we should anticipate another couple of important Samsung launches before the end of the year and early 2012, including the “replacement for the Galaxy S2 in February”, which’ll no doubt drop as the mooted Galaxy S3.
