BlackBerry Torch 9810 lands at Virgin Media

October 4th, 2011

BlackBerry Torch 9810The BlackBerry Torch 9810 is now available at Virgin Media, the UK network has today confirmed.

You can grab a free Torch 9810 from Virgin from £30.99 per month, just slightly more expensive than Three’s £30 tariff. This 24-month-long contract also bags you 300 minutes, 2500 texts and 500MB of mobile data, and Virgin promises to chuck-in unlimited email and BlackBerry Messenger access, too.

Alternatively, you can opt for one of Virgin Media’s 12 month tariffs, although you’ll have to fork out a hefty £349.99 to get your hands on the phone.

If the handset’s specs are anything to go by, the Torch 9810 will no-doubt follow in the footsteps of its best-selling brother: the BlackBerry Torch 9800. RIM’s latest QWERTY-slider touts a higher-resolution 3.2-inch touchscreen, paired with a faster 1.2GHz single-core processor and BlackBerry OS 7.

As well as its handy slide-out QWERTY keys, you’ll also find a 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video, integrated GPS, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, and up to 32GB of expandable memory.
