It looks like the HTC Rhyme isn’t delayed after all, as the handset’s now available from O2 UK.
Announced back in September, the HTC Rhyme is the first Android smartphone designed for a female-only audience. It’s not just its “metallic plum” casing which is catered to the ladies, as it also arrives bunch a bunch of accessories. These include; matching headphones and Bluetooth headset, a docking station, a sports wristband, and a Charm Indicator.
In terms of actual specs, the HTC Rhyme sports a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen, dressed in Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS and HTC Sense 3.5. There’s also a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, integrated GPS, and HSDPA and WiFi connectivity.
Over at O2, you can now bag yourself a free HTC Rhyme on a £27 two-year-long tariff, including a decent-enough 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB data. Alternatively, you can opt to buy the handset on pay as you go, which’ll cost you £349.99 upfront.
