The handset’s available at the usual stores including Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4u, who are both selling the Lumia from £26 per month. The majority of the major UK networks have also voiced plans to sell the smartphone, including Orange, T-Mobile, Three and Vodafone.
Three have been in touch to say the phone’s now available, and customers can grab it for free from £30 per month, or for £37 a month on The One Plan with all-you-can-eat data, 2,000 minutes and 5,000 texts.
We’ve also had word from Vodafone this morning, who have also started selling the Black Nokia Lumia 800 from £36 per month. The network’s also started taking pre-orders for the Cyan-flavoured handset ahead of its release this side of Christmas, which is priced the same as its darker-hued sibling.
Sylvia Chind, head of handsets at Three said: “The technology world has been buzzing in anticipation of this landmark handset from Nokia and Windows Phone. With Three’s award-winning 3G network* and generous data allowances, customers will really be able to take advantage of the excellent features in this new phone.”
