Following the release of the Galaxy S Armani edition, Samsung has teamed up with top designers Hugo Boss to create a luxurious-edition of the Samsung Galaxy Ace.
Named the Galaxy Ace Hugo Boss edition, Samsung claims that the handset has been “specially tailored to the lifestyle of the fashion brand’s customers.” Sticking to its promise, the two brands have equipped the Ace with a new matte black battery cover, which has been given the special treatment from the designers over at Hugo Boss. The modifications don’t stop there, as you’ll also find a bundle of unique Hugo Boss wallpapers.
Unfortunately, the tweaks don’t expand to the handset’s internals, which means it still comes rocking an measly 800MHz CPU. However, it will arrive running Google’s Android 2.3,3 Gingerbread software, compared to the dated Froyo software of the original Galaxy Ace.
Like the original however, you’ll find the same 3.5-inch capacitive display, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, up to 32GB of expandable memory, and fast HSDPA and WiFi connectivity.
The special edition Samsung Galaxy Ace will be available in France, from Samsung’s website, Hugo Boss stores and the French-arm of Carphone Warehouse. There’s not yet any word on a UK release, but we’ll bring you more details as soon as we get them.
