BlackBerry Curve 9380 lands on O2

November 28th, 2011

BlackBerry Curve 9380O2 has become the first UK network to sell the new BlackBerry Curve 9380, sticking to its promise of a November release.

Launched at the beginning of the month, the Curve 9380 is a cheap alternative to the fully-touchscreen Torch 9860. You’ll find a lower-res 3.2-inch (320 x 480) touchscreen, although this arrives dressed in the latest version of RIM’s mobile software: BlackBerry OS 7. This equips the phone with a bunch of high-end functionality, including multitasking, BBM, BlackBerry Music, and Facebook and Twitter integration.

Other features of the Curve 9380 include a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, integrated NFC smarts, up to 32GB of expandable memory and HSDPA and WiFi connectivity.

Over at O2′s Online Shop, you can pick up a free BlackBerry Curve 9380 on a 24 month £21.50 tariff, which also comes with 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of mobile data. Alternatively, you can opt for a shorter 18 month £32 tariff, which means you’ll be able to upgrade to the latest BlackBerry sooner.

Head over to O2 to see its full range of tariffs.
