Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD spied in official render

December 5th, 2011

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HDThe Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD has cropped-up once more in an official-looking render, hinting that a launch could soon be on the cards.

As well as confirming that it’ll be available in white, the image – published by IT168 – reveals some more juicy details about Sony’s next-gen flagship. Also known as the Sony Ericsson Nozomi, the handset will reportedly arrive packing dual-core innards, coupled with the latest version of Google’s OS: Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

If previous speculation is anything to go by, we’ll also be seeing a 4.3-inch 1280 x 720 screen – no doubt coupled with Sony’s Bravia technology – and a 12 megapixel rear-facing camera. There’s also talk of 1080p HD video, a front-facing videocall camera, and all of the usual connectivity options (HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth).

Not much is known about the handset’s availability, but expect to hear more at February’s MWC.
