Three remains the most complained-about network in the UK, Ofcom has revealed, while O2 reigns as the most satisfactory.
According to Ofcom, Three received 0.14 complaints per 1,000 customers in Q3 2011 – compared to 0.9 in Q1 and 0.11 in Q2 this year. Ofcom explained that the complaints against Three have been “largely driven by complaints relating to disputed charges and customer service issues.”
A spokesperson for Three said: “We have improved the way we handle complaints over the few months and saw a significant reduction in complaints in the early part of the summer, so it is disappointing to see these results. We will work with OfCom to better understand the nature of the complaints. Customer service remains a focus for the business.”
In contrast, O2 totalled-in as the most satisfactory UK network, with just 0.02 complaints to Ofcom per 1,000 consumers. Complaints for Orange, Vodafone and Virgin Mobile all came in at 0.07, while T-Mobile fared slightly-better with 0.6 complaints per 1,000 customers.
