The newly announced Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus is now available to pre-order, ahead of its UK release on February 13.
That’s courtesy of the guys at Expansys, who have began taking orders for the mid-range device. If you’re willing to fork-out £249.99 for Sammy’s latest smartphone, the retailer claims it’ll start shipping out the Galaxy Ace Plus on the week beginning February 13, which means you’ll have just over a month to wait.
“In the official press release, Samsung told us that the Ace Plus will be available in Russia starting from January 2012, and will be gradually rolled out to Europe”, with no further specific details,” Expansys explains in an official blog. “However, we can now confirm that the Ace Plus will be landing in Expansys’ warehouses in the week starting the 13th of February.”
The Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus improves on the original with its slightly-larger 3.65-inch capacitive touchscreen and its 1GHz single-core processor, and has been described as perfect for “trendy and sociable young professionals.” The 3GS-style handset also boasts Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, Samsung’s custom TouchWiz UI, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, GPS, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity and a 1300mAh juice-box.
