The BlackBerry Bold 9790 is now available to buy from O2 online, just days after the handset landed at Clove.
The BlackBerry 9790 was launched alongside the Curve 9380 back in November, as an affordable alternative to the Bold 9900. That’s not to say RIM skimped on specs, as the phone touts a decent 2.4-inch capacitive touchscreen, the latest version of BlackBerry software and a 1GHz single-core processor.
Other features include; a portrait QWERTY keypad, a 5 megapixel camera with VGA video, 8GB of memory expandable to 40GB, integrated NFC technology and fast HSDPA and WiFi connectivity.
Over at O2, you can pick up a free Bold 9790 on a 24 month £27.00 tariff, which comes with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of mobile data. Alternatively, you can opt for a shorter 18 month £37 contract, which bags you the same reasonable allowances.
RIM’s latest BlackBerry Bold is also available on O2 pay as you go, for £349.99. Topping up £10 a month will get you 300 minutes and 500MB data, while £15 will bag you a more-generous 500 minutes, BlackBerry email and unlimited WiFi access.
