It looks like Three won’t be the only UK network to offer unlimited data for much longer, as T-Mobile is reportedly planning to launch the similarly-generous ‘Full Monty’ price plan.
An anonymous tipster has leaked deets of the plan to TechnoBuffalo, revealing information what’s already been dubbed “the cheapest plan” available in Blighty. For £36 per month, customers will be able to get 2,000 cross network minutes (which includes free calls to 08 numbers and voicemail), alongside truly unlimited texts messages and truly unlimited monthly data. Currently, Three is the only UK network to offer unlimited data on its One Plan, which starts from £25 per month.
I don’t know about you, but this revelation has certainly made me think twice about switching from from T-Mobile to Three once my contract is up, so this aptly-titled Full Monty tariff could spell bad news for the numerically-named network.
According to the tipster, T-Mobile will launch the plan on February 1. We’re currently waiting to hear back from the UK network, so we’ll bring you more details as soon as we hear more.
