Samsung: No press conference at MWC

February 8th, 2012

It goes from bad to worse, Samsung fans. It’s not just the Galaxy S3 that won’t be making an appearance at MWC, as the company has confirmed that it has no conference planned for the Barcelona tech event.

That’s according to PC Mag, who has reportedly hear from the Korean manufacturer that it has no press conference planned at the imminent tech expo. Still, the tech site adds: “While Samsung may still have product introductions at the show, it won’t be on a big stage, at least.”

So what are these products we can expect to see? There’s talk that Sammy will announce a sequel to the 5.3-inch Galaxy Note – the Samsung Galaxy Note S – although we find it hard to believe that the firm would so so in a low key manner. Still, if this phone does make an appearance, expect to see; a 5.3 to 5.5-inch screen, Android 4.0, TouchWiz UI with stylus support and a 12 megapixel rear-facing camera.

Further speculation suggests that the company is also planning to launch the world’s largest Android tablet: the Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6.

Be sure to check back for all of the latest developments.
