Acer will launch the ICS-powered CloudMobile handset at Mobile World Congress, Pocket-lint has exclusively revealed.
Speaking to the tech-site, Acer revealed that the yet-unnanounced CloudMobile smartphone has received the iF design award 2012 in recognition of outstanding achievement in design, ahead of its official unveiling at Mobile World Congress.
We can see why the phone was recognised for its excellent design, as the handset’s unique curved black and silver casing certainly managed to catch our eye. That’s not all that’s impressive about the oddly-named Acer CloudMobile either, as it’ll reportedly launch running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and packing a 4.3-inch HD touchscreen.
Other confirmed specs include Dolby Surround Sound, a sub 10mm-thick casing and it’ll also be the first phone to offer AcerCloud technology, which it “enhances mobile productivity by providing seamless document management”.
Full specifications for the Acer CloudMobile will be announced at MWC, so we’ll bring you more details as soon as we get them.
