Pink Samsung Galaxy Note coming early-March

February 10th, 2012

Pink Samsung Galaxy NoteAlthough we assumed that the Galaxy Note was a device aimed at those with larger handset, Samsung‘s reportedly planning to launch a pink version especially for the female market.

That’s according to GSMArena, who got their hands on an image (right) of the “berry pink” smartphone. Set to arrive in both 16GB and 32GB flavours, the phone will reportedly miss out on Valentine’s Day – with a release set to take place in early-March.

So, what can we expect from the Pink Samsung Galaxy Note? As you can see, the phone will sport a repainted front and back panel, and if anything like its white-coloured sibling, it’ll also arrive with a pink-styled S Pen. However, expect the phone’s specs to remain unchanged, which means you’ll find the same 5.3-inch Super AMOLED touch panel and a 1.4GHz dual-core processor.

Potential adopters can also look forward to Android 2.3 Gingerbread (with a promise of an update to ICS in March), a tweaked version of Samsung’s TouchWiz overlay, an 8 megapixel primary camera, a front-facing webcam, 1080p HD video functionality, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity and a 2500mAh battery.

We’re expecting the Pink Galaxy Note to make an appearance at MWC this month.
