HTC Endeavour confirmed for Orange and Vodafone UK?

February 14th, 2012

HTC EndeavourThe long-rumoured HTC Endeavour (aka. Edge) will be heading to Orange and Vodafone following its launch at Mobile World Congress, according to a report from Economic Daily News.

The Chinese-language site claims that the Endeavour, which we’re refusing to spell without the ‘u’, has already been snapped up by 20 networks, including Orange and Vodafone. There’s no specific mention of the UK-arm of either network, but it’s our biggest hint yet that it’s coming to Blighty.

Also, as pointed out by the guys at Recombu, Voda have a track record of picking-up HTC‘s high-end Android smartphones, so we have no reason to believe that this rumour isn’t true.

Set to be unveiled ahead of MWC on February 26, the Endeavour is a phone worth getting excited about. If the months worth of leaks are to be believed, the device will be HTC’s first Ice Cream Sandwich phone, running the latest version of Android software. It’ll also be the firm’s debut quad-core device, packing Nvidia’s 1.3GHz Tegra 3 processor.

Other mooted features include; a 4.7-inch HD touchscreen, an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video, a front-facing video call camera for taking advantage of Face Unlock, r, integrated Beats Audio sound technology, 32GB of included storage and HSDPA and WiFi connectivity.
