Nokia Asha 201 arrives at Phones 4u for £60

February 14th, 2012

Nokia Asha 201It looks like the Nokia Asha 201 isn’t a Vodafone exclusive after all, as Phones 4u are now selling the phone on O2, Orange and T-Mobile too.

At £59.95 on pay as you go when bought with the usual £10 top-up the retailer’s pricing is £15 more expensive than Voda’s, but it does offer a choice of UK networks. Phones 4u is also offering the phone in a slick Black flavour, for those of you not so keen on the pearly-white model (pictured).

Perfect for those of you looking to pick up a cheap BlackBerry alternative, the Nokia Asha 201 sports an equally-tactile portrait QWERTY keypad alongside a reasonably-size 2.4-inch colour display. This display’s Nokia’s Symbian Series 40 software, which although not as functional as Android, for example, comes with Facebook, Twitter, Google Talk and Whatsapp.

For a mere £60, you’re also bagging yourself a 2 megapixel rear-facing camera, an included media player with FM radio and up to 32GB of expandable storage – plenty of room for all of your tunes.
