The phone’s official guise comes courtesy of Pocket-lint, who got the nod from sources close to the matter than the Primo will arrive in Barcelona as the HTC One V. The site’s anonymous insiders also confirmed that the One X and One S will also be launching at MWC, as well as the yet-unheard-of HTC One XL, although no details about this phone have yet been confirmed.
Matching up nicely with previous rumoured, Pocket-lint ‘confirms’ that the One V will tout a 3.7-inch touchscreen, powered by a 1GHz processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This, we’re assuming, will come dressed in HTC’s Sense 4.0 overlay, equipping the phone with all of the usual Google goodies.
Although it’s expected to be ‘cheap’, the HTC One V will also tout d a 5 megapixel camera with HD video, fast HSDPA and WiFi connectivity and integrated Beats Audio technology.
We’ll be on hand with all the latest news from MWC, so be sure to check back for the latest developments.
