That’s according to SIM free phone shop Clove, which has pushed back the handset’s availability until “the week commencing March 26”, despite previous expectations for a late-Feb release. The reason for the delay still remains a mystery, but we’ve been in touch with Samsung for further information.
The Galaxy S Advance, if you’ve lost track of Samsung‘s ever-growing Galaxy line-up, is yet another updated version of the original Galaxy S. On the spec-front you’ll find a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, Android 2.3 and a decent 1GHz dual-core processor, alongside Samsung’s typical TouchWiz overlay.
There’s also a 5 megapixel camera with HD video, a 1.3 megapixel video call camera, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, a 1500mAh battery and either 8GB or 16GB of built-in storage.
Don’t mind waiting to get your hands on the smartphone? It’s available to pre-order from Clove for £354 SIM free.
