Samsung Galaxy Ace 2: April 23 UK release date confirmed

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 will be arriving on the UK on April 23, SIM free retailer Unlocked-Mobiles has confirmed.

It’s cheaper than we’d originally heard, too, as the retailer’s got it up for pre-order at £248.98 SIM free. You can head over there to order yours now – although you’ve got a while to wait until the phone starts shipping.

The Galaxy Ace 2 – not to be confused with the Galaxy Ace Plus – is Samsung‘s second-gen Ace-branded smartphone, featuring Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and an 800MHz single-core processor. Buyers can also look forward to  integrated NFC tech, a 5 megapixel HD camera, a VGA webcam, fast HSDPA and WiFi internet speed, 4GB of internal storage and a 1500mAh battery.

Once released towards the end of April, the phone will also be available to buy on O2Orange,T-Mobile and Three.
