Rightmove, the UK’s most popular property website, has announced the launch of an official Android app.
Much like its iOS counterpart which launched back in 2009, Rightmove for Android enables users to choose their ideal location using Google Street View, before showcasing full screen photos and floor plans of a selected property. The app also enables you to sign into your existing Rightmove account, and to contact agents from within the app.
Rightmove director Miles Shipside said: “We’re seeing a real shift in consumer behaviour as home-movers increasingly incorporate mobile platforms into their property search process. They’re looking to get the latest properties, stay connected with the people they are searching with, and search on the move.
“The addition of a new Rightmove Android app to our suite of home-moving platforms will further enhance this trend, and allows us to build on the success of our iPhone app, iPad app and M-Site.”
Rightmove will be available to download from Google Play on March 19.
