We’ve just been informed that the LG Optimus 3D Max has been delayed in the UK, with a release now set to take place within “the next few weeks”.
Earlier this month, SIM free retailer Unlocked-Mobiles put the 3D Max up for pre-order, with a promised release date of March 20. However, we’ve just received word from the online vendor that LG has delayed the phone’s release by a “few weeks”, with a launch now set to take place on April 14.
Still mulling the idea of buying LG’s second-generation 3D smartphone? On the spec-front, you’ll find the same 4.3-inch ‘naked eye’ display as the original handset, as well as dual 5 megapixel stereoscopic cameras capable of shooting 3D footage in HD.
It’s not all about three-dimensional smarts though, as the skinny 9.6mm phone also features a speedy 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a VGA webcam, HDMI and DLNA technology, NFC, 16GB of included storage and nippy HSDPA and WiFi connectivity.
Sold? You can pre-order the phone now for £394.98 SIM free.
