As if to offset the disappointment of Apple failing to mention anything about the iPhone at WWDC 2012, some very convincing photographic renders of the iPhone 5 have emerged on Flickr.
The pretty pictures seem to be influenced by what we think we know about the iPhone 5 so far. Based on the recent video in which a journalist plays around with what seems to be a genuine iPhone 5 back panel, we’re assuming that Apple’s next flagship device will feature a 4″ screen, smaller charging dock connector, and a nano-SIM card port.
The renders here show the hypothetical iPhone 5 with the exact same back panel that was used in the aforementioned video, and generally are the most impressive (fake) images we’ve seen of the phone so far.
What do you think? Would you be satisfied if the real iPhone 5 ended up looking something like this? Either way, the evidence we have so far suggests that the end product won’t be too dissimilar, so now might be a good time to start getting used to it.
