One of the big smash hit films of the summer – or even forever – is upon us, and we can hardly contain our excitement any more. The Dark Knight Rises is the final chapter of Christopher Nolan’s brilliant take on the Batman legend, and everything we’ve seen of it so far looks mind-blowing.
Nokia have done well to notice this and take full advantage of it. In their continuing co-operation with Warner Bros and the Dark Knight films, the Finnish phone maker have just released a beautifully-rendered 3D map of Gotham City for fanboys and fangirls to explore.
To access the map, you have to head over to the Nokia Connects website and give Nokia a ‘Like’ on Facebook. Slightly cheap tactics, we know, but it does give you access to a feature that many a geek would be willing to pay for, and enters you into a competition to win the Limited Dark Knight edition of the Lumia 900. You also need Flash installed for the site to work.
Nokia may be struggling financially at the moment, but such a deal with one of the all-time blockbuster film series’ is surely not doing them any harm. As well as releasing a special edition of their Lumia 900, Nokia also released an exclusive Dark Knight Rises trailer several weeks ago.
