No day would be complete without a little bit of iPhone 5 speculation. This bit of news, however, goes one better, as it seems that we finally have photos, courtesy of Kit Guru, of what the finished product will look like.
Don’t get over-excited. The phone isn’t switched on as it probably doesn’t have anything inside that pretty shell, but the full chassis you see here seems to confirm what many people have been thinking the iPhone 5 would look like.
From this, it seems that Apple have increased the screen size up to around 4″, while not going overboard on size like the Galaxy S3 or HTC One X. The side-on shots also show the phone to be thinner than the iPhone 4S.
As expected, the dock connector port is significantly smaller than before; a move which has been a long time coming, given how horribly flimsy those accursed 30-pin connectors were.
Of course, this could all be a lie, with no official source to back it, but the pics are certainly the most convincing yet. Apple may as well come clean and officially announce the iPhone 5, or new iPhone, or whatever they want to call it, as we have a pretty good idea of what to expect from it now.
